Tapping the LRS icon
on the Main Screen brings up the Long Range Sensors. This is a 360° view of your current sector and where the enemy ships are. Your Starfighter icon stays at the center; the enemy ships are represented by red blips which will move in the space around you. Enemies very close together will be represented by a single blip, otherwise each enemy will have its own blip. A red vector attached to each blip shows the enemy’s current heading and velocity.
Tapping on a red blip will automatically turn your ship in the direction of the enemy. Touching anywhere on the screen during “Auto Nav” will cancel the movement. Tapping on the ship again, or on another ship, will resume Auto Nav. Tap the Main Screen button
in the lower right corner to return you to that screen after Auto Nav has completed its maneuver and your ship will be pointed toward the enemy. (Or tap the Main Screen button to exit to LRS at any time.) If you have difficulty locating distant ships in the LRS, you may also use the “X” and “Y” axis scroll bars to manually rotate around the sector to look for distant targets out of your current view. Move your finger along the scroll bar to rotate the LRS in that direction. Pressing the triangles at either end of a scroll bar will rotate the LRS until it reaches its maximum position.
Touch the Default View icon
in the upper left corner to quickly reset the LRS viewpoint to the viewing start point. Tap the GM icon
in the upper right to view that screen directly.
Tip: Tap on all the nearby blips in a sector to find the closest ship(s) quickly.
